Managing Generation Y Employees

The current work environment is different from what it was five decades ago. We have employees ranging from the veterans to Gen Y in one organisation. Managers are caught in the middle of this generational gap because methods and patterns that grew the organisation to its current status quo no longer seem right or fit.

A significant workplace change is the changes in attitudes, ideas and values brought on by the presence of Gen Y. These employees are young, educated, technology savvy and globally conscious. They are vocal and will not hesitate to question till they are satisfied.
